Special General Meeting 19.1.2013
A Special General Meeting was held in Hamilton and all regional financial members were invited by letter. All financial members were also provided with supporting documentation. A robust discussion was undertaken and a vote was taken.
The following resolution was agreed.

That this Special General Meeting of the Stroke Foundation Midland Region Inc. supports a unified structure for the Stroke Foundation. It resolves to adopt the recommendation of the Stroke Foundation National Council Inc. that ‘The Stroke Foundation Midland Region Inc.’ amalgamates with the proposed ‘The Stroke Foundation of New Zealand Trust’, operating under the proposed constitution of ‘The Stroke Foundation of New Zealand Ltd.’, and agrees to transfer the assets of ‘The Stroke Foundation Midland Region Inc.’ to the new Charitable Trust. It authorises ‘The Stroke Foundation Midland Region Inc. Council Members to action this resolution.
